The Journey of Continual Learning

Welcome! I’ve created this site to share resources with white folks that are working on anti-racist practices. I’m happy that you landed on my site and hope that it’s useful for you.

The work of fighting racism is a long journey. I hope to be able to share thoughts and experiences and also look forward to learning from you.

As a person with white privilege, being aware of racism and unlearning racist behavior is daily work and can be overwhelming. I don’t believe that cultural competency is something that white people can ever really ‘achieve’ but we can become more aware, heal ourselves and break out of patterns of harmful behavior rooted in white supremacy.

I hope to share some resources that have been helpful to me and, in particular, tools to help move through the phases of guilt and shame that are so often barriers in this work.
